Today's Good Thing: Invigilate

Time: 1:40 pm

Meeting: Leicester

Sir Michael Stoute saddled the winner of this race in 2017 (division one) and 2020, and the Newmarket handler fires two bullets here, with INVIGILATE fancied to make it third-time lucky. The Acclamation filly stepped up on her pleasing debut performance when third at Chester and any further improvement should put her bang there.

Today's Good Thing: Anchorage

Time: 3:55 pm

Meeting: Galway

Aidan O’Brien has won eight of the last 10 renewals and ANCHORAGE gets the vote despite a disappointing effort at the Curragh last time. Maybe soft ground was against the Galileo colt on that occasion and he had previously shaped like this trip would suit when chasing home I Am Magic over 7f here. It’s interesting that O’Brien brings his charge, who holds a slew of big-race entries later in the autumn, back to Ballybrit for his fourth career start. Stablemate Sun King, who’s entered in a couple of Group 2 races later in the month, is a newcomer to note and fellow debutant Rene Artois, who’s had a spin in a barrier trial, likewise holds a Beresford Stakes engagement
