There are some choicely-bred horses in this line-up, including Saeed bin Suroor’s Tapit colt NIGHT HUNTER, who cost Godolphin $700,000 at the sales. Third on his Leicester debut, he then strolled home over a 1m2f at Chelmsford and even with 10st 1lb to carry (after his jockey’s claim), he may well still be far too good for these. NIGHT HUNTER sets a clear standard on the form of his decisive Chelmsford win and he’ll be difficult to beat if running close to that level today.
